Two new steam generators
CO2 COMMITMENT
Beste has invested in two new steam generators that can increase performance with a 5% decrease in CO2 emissions. A patented neutralization plant, which uses CO2 derived from methane gas combustion fumes to provide Ph correction from wastewater coming from some of the processes in our plant.

ENERGY
In addition to upgrading new steam generators, Beste has also invested in the installation of an active cogeneration unit. In addition to the kWh produced by the photovoltaic panels installed on the roof of the production facility (with a total capacity of 1,250 kWp), 85% of the energy purchased from the grid to meet the needs of the facilities is covered by Guarantees of Origin (GO). The GO is officially tracked by the GSE (Energy Services Manager).

NATURAL DYES
The use of natural dyes enables a sustainable production process thanks to our R&D department which has been able to industrialise the process focusing on some plant fibres that no one had been able to guarantee until now.
